The Faithful Fools live and work in San Francisco's Tenderloin
neighborhood. They are focused on neighborhood projects as a way to
provide appropriate foolish support to the community.
The Faithful Fools lead seekers on a day-long experience on the streets of
The City. The days start and end with a community service. They
are filled with contemplation, people, and concrete.
Let us have roots and place to teach our neighbors how to earn a
living! The Faithful Fools is raising $850,000 to buy a Tenderloin
building which is their home base, a safe place for workshops, and a
center for job training.
The UP ON TOP After School Program provides licensed after-school care for the
Tenderloin and surrounding communities. The program is licensed by the State
of California, Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing. The
program serves 24 children, ages 6-10 in grades kindergarten through third
attending John Swett Elementary School. All participants come from families
who qualify for HUD low-income designations.
